Last week, Natalia and I went for a walk on the sand bars that make up the delta of the Lilloett River at the head of Lilloett Lake. The high iron content stains the sand bars a brilliant rusty colour.
Weather here continues to be unaturally nice for this time of year. Light frost at night, sunshine and warm afternoons, but here in the Pemberton valley, the sun goes down behind the western mountain before 3:15 p.m.
I am working five days a week now at Ice Cap Organics, doing the fall harvest of vegetables.
